TRUMBULL, Conn. -- An Ash Circle man was arrested by Trumbull police following a domestic dispute Saturday, April 9 with his girlfriend, during which he punched a hole in the couple's bedroom door, according to the Trumbull Times.

Charles Ciambriello, 28, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after police arrived at the residence to find he allegedly destroyed several rooms in the house, as well as punching the door during the fight, said the Trumbull Times.

Police said the woman called 911 from a closet in the home where she was hiding, according to the Trumbull Times. Ciambriello left the scene but returned the following morning, when he was arrested, reported the Trumbull Times. He posted $500 bail, added the Trumbull Times.
