Sarah Chiarelli, who is accused of stealing more than $45,000 from the Stepney Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization to fund household purchases and a Disney World vacation, rejected the deal because she did not agree to the amount of restitution, according to the Monroe Courier.

At the time of her arrest in May 21, 2015, Chiarelli, then the PTO’s treasurer and former president, was the only person with access to the PTO’s bank accounts, the story said.
