EASTON, Conn. — The planning and zoning boards in Easton had their day in court and walked away victorious over a housing developer pushing to build 99 units on a 125-acre watershed site, reports eastoncourier.com.

The decision by Hartford Superior Court Judge Marshall K. Berger puts to rest a long-debated issue with town boards and the Easton Conservation Commission against Saddle Ridge Development LLC and Silver Sports LP, according to esstoncourier.com.

Developers sought to build townhouses on watershed land bordering Cedar Hill, Silver Hill, Sport Hill, and Westport roads, reports esstoncourier.com.
