Metro-North To Resume Limited Service Tuesday Night On New Haven Line

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Metro-North will resume limited service on the New Haven Line beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and service will be modified for the Wednesday morning commute.

The first train to operate inbound to Grand Central will be the 6:46 p.m. from New Haven, making all local stops. The first train out of Grand Central will be the 6:36 p.m., making all local stops to New Haven.

The last train to operate inbound to Grand Central will be the 10:45 p.m. from New Haven, making all local stops. The last train to operate outbound from Grand Central will be the 11:37 p.m. to New Haven, making all local stops.

There will be no Branch Line service provided tonight (Danbury to South Norwalk, New Canaan to Stamford, Waterbury to Bridgeport).

For Wednesday's morning Peak, Metro-North will operate a modified weekday schedule that will serve all customers with some combined and cancelled trains.

Customers should expect crowded conditions and train delays.
