Metro-North Reports Delays On New Haven Line After Issues With Wires

original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North was reporting delays in Connecticut on Wednesday morning due to problems with the overhead catenary wires. 

Delays of 10 to 15 minutes were reported on the New Haven Line, as well as on the Danbury and Waterbury branches as of 8:06 a.m. Wednesday, Metro-North said. 

The problems were in the vicinity of Bridgeport. This subsequently caused late equipment and congestion in Bridgeport and in South Norwalk, Metro-North said.  

Riders should listen for announcements at the stations.
