MONROE, Conn. -- The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is hosting an author talk with F. Mark Granato on Wednesday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m.

Granato will discuss his novel,  “Of Winds and Rage,” the story of an escaped madman set against the Great New England Hurricane of 1938, during the event.

The author will also provide insights into the extensive research that went into building the historical backdrop of his work.
