TRUMBULL, Conn. — Remind yourself what Independence Day is all about by joining your friends and neighbors at the fifth annual Reading of the Declaration of Independence on Monday, July 4, on the Trumbull Town Hall steps at 10 a.m.
The event is sponsored by the Trumbull Arts Commission.
This historic portrayal features citizen volunteers reading the Declaration. This year, John Adams speaks to the Second Constitution Congress.
This event is for the entire family, and Colonial costumes are encouraged.
Bring your flags and your chairs. In case of rain, the reading will be held in the courtroom at Town Hall.
