After Mia McCaffrey passed away last week at the age of 6, the charity Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer set out to show love and support for Mia's 5-year-old brother James. The group is asking people to send James cards to help bring him some joy in this difficult time.

"James loves Star Wars and anything related to super heroes, however much more than those things and most importantly, he loves his sister above anything else. Mia's death is a devastation to all, however aside from Mia's parents there's no one this will impact more than the absolute love of Mia's life, her brother James," the group wrote on its Facebook page.

"While in spirit Mia will always be there to embrace James, I'm asking you all now to join me in showing James that, in addition to his wonderful family, we are here for him too."

The card can be directly from you and your family, or you can get creative and make it from a super hero or Star Wars character.

Cards can be sent to Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer's P.O. box and they will be forwarded to the family on a bi-weekly basis:

The organization is asking families to take the time to bring a smile to this little boy's face, and to also get children involved in the effort.

"I truly believe that a child's love is healing and that there is nothing better than when one child helps another."
