TRUMBULL, Conn. – Santa will continue to listen to children’s Christmas wishes at the Westfield Trumbull shopping mall seven days a week through Christmas Eve, except for Thanksgiving Day.
Santa’s hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.
Santa Paws will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2. Bring your favorite four-legged friends (dogs and cats only) for their holiday photo with Santa. All pets with the exception of service animals must be leashed and/or caged. Pets will not be permitted outside the JCPenney Court photo area.
Sensitive Santa will be from 8:30-10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Westfield Trumbull has partnered with Autism Speaks to host "Sensitive Santa," an opportunity for children with autism and other special needs – and their siblings – to visit with Santa in a more soothing and sensory-friendly environment. During "Sensitive Santa," families will enjoy a quiet visit with Santa supported by no overhead mall radio or audible music from nearby stores, no long lines and lower shopper traffic.
Children will be entertained with special sensory-friendly activities nearby while they wait. This event is limited to 30 families and there are three time slots to choose from – 8 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis and you must select your designated time slot.
