Trumbull Schedules Scouts In Government Day

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull has scheduled its Scouts in Government Day for Wednesday, March 16.

For almost 50 years, Trumbull has hosted this educational opportunity for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts to learn about the operation of their town by spending time with officials (elected and appointed), employees and volunteers.

Scouts who will be 10 years old by March 16 may apply for a position on Government Day by submitting a completed application form and brief essay by March 1.

Forms are available from troop leaders, at the libraries and at the Town Clerk's office.
