Stamford Brews Up Fun At First Annual Brew & Whiskey Festival

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford continues its foodie reign with the first annual Stamford Brew & Whiskey Festival (SBWF).

The event, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14  at Harbor Point, will feature live music, boardwalk games, food, and plenty of whiskey and craft beer tasting from over 30 vendors. Special guests like FOX radio’s street team, as well Stamford’s mayor, David Martin will be in attendance.

SBWF proceeds will benefit New Neighborhoods Inc, a nonprofit developer and manager of affordable rental and owner-occupied housing in Fairfield County. The event is sponsored by First County Bank, M&T Bank and other local organizations. All funds raised will support New Neighborhoods Inc.’s mission to create sustainable communities in Southwestern Connecticut.

General admission is $45, which includes admission, food sampling, beverages, and live music. VIP tickets are also available for $100, which allow access to all reserved VIP reception areas for the length of the event, food buffet, beer, wine, sampling from all vendors and live music.

Among the vendors in attendance: Asylum Distillery, Branford Distillery, Brother Jimmy's BBQ, Bubble Tea, Cocoanuts Food Truck, Dinosaur BBQ - Stamford CT, Enchanted Szechuan, Fantasy Love Catering & Intimate Designs, Scatz Catering & Entertainment, Hartford Flavor Company, HAPA Food Truck, Kona Grill, Inc., Litchfield Distillery, Longford's Own-Made Ice Cream - Rye, Original Pappas Pizza Downtown, Sign of the Whale, Spicy Potato, Stony Creek, The Simple Greek, and The Chamo.
