"Like any book, graphic novels and comics tell a story," organizers note. "Sometimes it's fantastical. Sometimes it's real. Sometimes it's a little bit of both."
In the first workshop, participants will turn their ideas into storyboards. You can register here.
The second workshop is the next week, on Friday, July 22. Kevin Scalzo, author of the comic book "Sugar Booger" will join the workshop. "Kevin is going to help us bring our writing dreams into drawing fruition," organizers note.
Register here for second workshop. Participants should attend both if possible.
Both sessions are from 6-7:30 p.m. The library is located at 439 Redding Rd.
