Danbury Stepping Out For St. Patrick's Day Parade & Party

DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be step off on Sunday, March 19, in downtown Danbury. 

The St. Patrick's Day parade steps off at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from St. Peter's Church in downtown Danbury.

The parade begins at St. Peter's Church on Main Street at 2:30 p.m. 

Bands, floats and marchers will make their way down Main Street, up West Street, onto Lake Avenue and finish up at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center at 6 Lake Ave. 

The GDICC will serve corned beef sandwiches, hot dogs, desserts and beverages at the after-parade party. 

Admission to the Cultural Center event is free and live music, along with Irish step-dancing.
