Danbury Fair Returns: War Memorial Setting Up Rides & More In Rogers Park

DANBURY, Conn. — Kids — and adults — of all ages love a good carnival. And the residents of Danbury have a new carnival to enjoy.

The James E. Strates Shows is setting up rides in Rogers Park in preparation for the Danbury War Memorial Fair. It will open Friday, May 5, and run through Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14.

The fair will feature carnival rides, games of chance, and a kiddie-land.

It will be open 4 to 11 p.m. weekdays and 1 to 11 p.m. weekends.

Admission and parking are free.

On weekdays, a ride all rides pass is $20 per person. On weekends, the cost is $25 per person. Click above to the second photo for a $5 off coupon. 

The carnival will benefit the Danbury War Memorial. Rogers Park is located at 1 Memorial Drive, at the end of Main Street in downtown Danbury.
