FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield’s love affair with fitness marches on with the September opening of Urban Strength Club, a mecca for muscles on Kings Highway East.
Urban Strength Club offers an array of fitness possibilities, including group classes in strength training, yoga, Pilates, boot camps and kickboxing.
Owner Debbie O’Toole is joined by a team of experienced pros who also offer personal training to clients at all levels.
“My goal is to create a supportive community that inspires, celebrates and encourages members to be their best selves,” O’Toole said. “Urban Strength Club will be a ‘gym of the people’ where people can build strength, make friends and have fun.”
First Selectman Mike Tetreau and State Rep. Brenda Kupchick joined O’Toole and family and friends at the Sept. 6 ribbon cutting.
Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart said he was thrilled to welcome the new club to Fairfield.
“It is truly inspirational to be in the company of entrepreneurs like Debbie, as small businesses like hers are the lifeblood of our community,” he said.
