The food truck, which has been in business for three years, travels for hire to private parties as well as to public events such as street festivals and farmers markets.

The Bounty Truck’s burgers include the Chorizo burger, made with manchego cheese, fig Agro dolce and cilantro salsa verde; and the Bahn Mi style pork burger prepared with pickled Asian slaw, jalapeño, soy glaze and wasabi aioli.

Bounty Food Truck's burgers are healthy, too.

“All the burgers come from grass-fed cows in Montana, and are antibiotic-free," said Nick Type, a partner with the Bounty Food Truck. He also co-owns the Market on Spring restaurant in South Salem, N.Y., which opened in 2016. The two businesses have recently merged into one.

Type said he enjoys operating the truck. "There is nothing more fun than pulling up in the food truck and seeing happy faces. It brings a smile to anyone’s face."

Aside from burgers, the truck sells a ton of other tasty dishes, including BBQ pulled pork, buttermilk fried chicken, beef brisket sandwiches and cajun shrimp Po Boy.

“We have a very flexible menu. We customize to whatever people want. We can be as creative as anyone wants us to be," Type said.

The burgers are all cooked to order on a flat-iron grill.

All dishes on the truck are prepared by chef Wes Lansdon, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
