The business, which opened Feb. 1, is holding a grand opening ceremony and open house on Saturday, Feb. 11. There will also be a ribbon cutting and guests will enjoy finger foods, wine and refreshments. There will also be employees available to answer questions about yoga and a beauty counter representative.

The business is owned by Elaina Wieser, who has taught a variety of classes, from from prenatal to chair yoga with the elderly and everything in between. "I’ve taught beginner, restorative, all-level, power vinyasa, hot and stand up paddle board while trying to find my path and my truth. What I found was comfort in my body, my practice and my unique style of teaching. I continue to learn and grow by attending workshops and trainings regularly,'' Wieser said on Blue Lotus Yoga's Facebook page.

She recently became certified to teach Restorative Yoga for Trauma, is a member of Yoga Alliance and CPR certified. Wieser, a mother of three, is also a member of the Monroe Youth Commission and ADAM, Alcohol and Drug Awareness of Monroe.

Blue Lotus will offer classes for all levels, including beginner, and will have "power hour," lunch time and "shift ender" classes.
